Thanks for choosing me to be your PMU artist I’m so excited to meet you!✨ MUST bring your ID with you to your appointment. ~What to know before you book~ Before getting permanent makeup (PMU), stop using blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, Vitamin E) 3–7 days prior, avoid alcohol/caffeine 24-48 hours before, and stop retinol/acids near the area 2 weeks prior. Individuals who are pregnant/nursing, under 18, taking Accutane, or have active skin diseases/keloid risks should not get PMU. What to Stop/Avoid Before Permanent Makeup Blood Thinners (3-7 days before): Aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, fish oils, niacin, and Vitamin E. Substances (24-48 hours before): Alcohol and caffeine (coffee, tea, soda), as these can increase bleeding and sensitivity. Skincare Products (2-4 weeks before): Retin-A, retinol, glycolic acids, and anti-aging products around the area. Procedures (2-4 weeks before): Botox (2 weeks), chemical peels, facials, and laser treatments (4-8 weeks). Sun Exposure: Avoid tanning or sunburns for 2 weeks prior. Others: Avoid taking blood-thinning supplements, avoid high-intensity exercise on the day of the procedure, and stop using eyelash extensions 7 days prior to eyeliner tattoos. Who Cannot Get Permanent Makeup (Contraindications) Pregnant or Nursing: It is highly recommended to wait until you have finished nursing. Active Skin Conditions: Acne, rashes, shingles, eczema, or cold sores (herpes) on the area to be treated. Medical Conditions: HIV/Hepatitis positive, hemophilia, active cancer/chemotherapy, or major heart conditions. Medications: Accutane (must be off for 6-12 months), blood thinners. Scarring: Individuals prone to keloid scarring. Age: Under 18 years old. Allergies: Allergy to lidocaine, epinephrine, or tattoo pigments *Cannot tattoo if you have a pacemaker. *If you've had a heart valve replacement or have congenital heart disease, doctor approval is required. *If you are under a doctor's care for any condition, get medical clearance first. *You must wait 4 weeks after getting lip filler before you get lip blushing done, to allow the filler to settle, swelling and bruising to resolve, and for the skin to be stable for optimal pigment deposition. *No Botox or filler in the area 2 weeks before & after your appointment.Business Hours
